Legendary director John Carpenter skewers “greed is good” Reaganism in this sometimes chilling/sometimes hilarious/always entertaining action/sci-fi classic. Featuring a lead turn by pro wrestler “Rowdy” Roddy Piper and, probably not coincidentally, one of the wildest fistfights ever committed to film. That the movie also gives us the great Keith David as the second lead is just icing on the cake.
