The Outer Limits

Created by Leslie Stevens

1963 • TV-PG • English • 60 min.

The Outer Limits isn’t The Twilight Zone, it’s that other black and white anthology sci-fi TV show. Created by Leslie Stevens (who would later work on NBC’s Buck Rogers), it ran for two seasons in the early 1960s. Sci-fi giant Harlan Ellison penned two of the show’s standout episodes, “Demon with a Glass Hand” and “Soldier.” The latter allegedly inspired James Cameron’s Terminator movies.

Cast: Robert Culp, Robert Duvall, Dabney Coleman, Martin Landau
