Before writer/director David Twohy launched the Riddick franchise, he made this fun alien invasion conspiracy film with great turns from Ron Silver and Lindsay Crouse. Aliens with backwards kneecaps have already begun secretly infiltrating society, and only astronomer Charlie Sheen can stop it. Of note for the “scorpion scene,” one of the longest and most suspenseful sequences we’ve ever seen.
