Crack in the World (1965)

Crack in the World

Directed by Andrew Marton

1965 • Not Rated • English • 83 min.

A dying scientist uses a nuclear missile to tap through the earth’s crust to the magma layer in this modest but handsomely-produced disaster movie. His plan is to create a source of infinite energy, but things, of course, don’t go according to plan. Like all of the best disaster movies, this one provides plenty of melodrama along with destruction.

Cast: Dana Andrews, Janette Scott, Kieron Moore
