Ape

Kind of like King Kong if they skipped all the Skull Island stuff and started the movie with the giant ape escaping from captivity and wreaking havoc on the mainland. The mainland is South Korea in this case, but don’t worry — the ape still manages to find a blond American actress (played by Joanna Kerns, who would go on to star in 80s sitcom Growing Pains) to abduct.
