Warner Bros. dropped this straight-up classic at the end of the 20th century. And then they dropped the ball by barely promoting the movie during its theatrical run. No matter — it found its audience on home video, and director Brad Bird went to work for Pixar, who did a much better job of finding audiences for his movies than Warner did.
